Looks great! What size did you get? I totally agree that there's a bit of a learning curve, but my experience seems like it might be the opposite of yours. I found that I needed to make my buns tighter/smaller that I do with many other forks and sticks. I have a 4" moon, maybe size is the issue.
It took a little playing around for me to find what works with it, but it became a favorite as soon I figured out what works with it and what doesn't.
